The University of Western Macedonia participates in the Google Workspace for Education program of the Google company.
Google Workspace for Education services are a set of services offered free of charge to educational institutions, with the main services as follows:

All the above services are NOT provided by UOWM. Google reserves the right to change its services without prior notice or warning.
Account Activation
You can activate your G Suite for Education account at https://account.uowm.gr/gsuite.php
Conditions
To use the service you must have an active institutional account.
Access
Every member of the University has an account in the Google Workspace for Education service. The username is of the form user@g.uowm.gr . For example, if your institutional username is user and your institutional email is user@uowm.gr , the username in the Google Workspace for Education service is user@g.uowm.gr .
If you wish, you can make the necessary settings so that messages to your university email address are stored in your Google Workspace for Education account. This can be done either by setting your institutional email to be automatically forwarded to Google Workspace for Education at https://account.uowm.gr .
To connect to Google Workspace for Education services follow the steps below:
- Visit: https://accounts.google.com
- Enter your new email in the format username@g.uowm.gr to log in
- You are redirected to the Central Certification (Identity) page of the University of Western Macedonia
- Enter your institutional account information

It is noted that the University of Western Macedonia only provides the ability to connect and use the services.

The services offered by Google are provided “as is”, in accordance with the rules and terms of use of the Provider
and are supported exclusively by the Provider, mainly through the relevant Websites, and not by the University.
Support on behalf of the University is limited only to matters related to the possibility of successfully connecting to the specific services.
