The UOWM Open eClass platform is a complete Electronic Course Management System. It follows the philosophy of open source software and supports the Asynchronous Distance Learning service without limitations and commitments. Access to the service is done using a simple web browser without requiring specialized technical knowledge.

Through this Portal HEAL-Link members have full-text access to journals, e-books and to bibliographic databases. Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (AAI) through shibboleth is supported by a few publishers. Access is allowed through IP address recognition and My-HEAL-Link, which is a personalization service, does not conflict with this process.

The Secure File Sending Service operates at https://send.uowm.gr , with the help of which it is possible to securely send large files (4Gb max)  to other users.  

The Networking Department offers the VPN (Virtual Private Network) service, which enables institution users who already have an internet connection (eg DSL connection) to obtain a University IP address from wherever they connect, along with whatever rights it comes with, e.g. access to internal electronic services of the University, access to electronic resources via HEAL-LINK, etc.

The University of Western Macedonia participates in the Google Workspace for Education program of the Google company.

Through the DILOS365 service, you gain access to Microsoft cloud applications, which include Office 365 Online, One Drive (1TB), Skype for Business, etc. The service includes the installation of Office365 applications on PCs or mobile devices.

Your UOWM institutional account also corresponds to your university email address. For example, if you have the username psy01234 , your email address is psy01234@uowm.gr .

One account, for all your roles, in all services. The first action that first-year students must do, after completing your admission at the Secretariat of our Program, is to go to https://uregister.uowm.gr  to activate your UOWM institutional account.
