This module aims to give the student a comprehensive introduction of water chemistry (chemical pollutants, water composition, chemical elements etc.) It also aims to give a comprehensive introduction of atmospheric chemistry, photochemical reactions. Quality control of the atmosphere (nature of pollutants, effect of the pollutants to the flora and fauna). Basic introduction to the use of instruments and results evaluation of water parameters. Introduction to analytical techniques for estimation of air pollutants.
